Roughly 60 percent of global energy consumption is lost as waste heat. This represents a huge energy recovery potential. TEGma has the solution to solve this and has delivered several full-scale commercial thermoelectric waste heat recovery systems.
To meet the increasing demand we are looking for a Lead Electrical Engineer to TEGma, which is initatied and owned by the Scatec Innovation Group.
As a Lead Electrical Engineer, you will work with TEGma’s current and future solutions within power electronics. You will be responsible for the power electronics in their standard systems and will also play a central role in further developing these.
Responsibilities:
- Design of cost-effective power electronic solutions for optimal performance
- Close collaboration with suppliers to improve systems and implement new solutions
- Maintenance of configurations and functionality
- Providing internal technical guidance and contributing to the professional growth of other employees
- Continuous quality control of components from suppliers to ensure reliability and performance
- Active participation in the production process to ensure quality and efficiency
- Opportunity to participate in the commissioning of systems at customer sites
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in power electronics and project work
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in electronics or other related fields
- Strong technical understanding combined with excellent communication skills
- Thrives in a dynamic work environment, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Your primary workplace will be in TEGma’s new facilities at Tranby. Business travel is limited, but you can expect some trips to suppliers and customers for follow-up. In this role, you will report directly to the Project Director.
